Quality policy

The activities of sales, design, production, testing, delivery and assistance are performed according to ABV Energy certified Quality Management System (QMS) which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.

ABV Energy QMS is periodically audited by API, Notified Bodies and customer inspectors.

ABV Energy QMS has the following primary purposes (Quality Policy) :

• showing to its own potential Market the ability to design and manufacture qualified products which are suitable for the use and which are in accordance with the specification in force and with the users requirements and expectations, and giving a suitable service;
• guarantee a continual growth of the quality level of its own products and services and the continual improvement and adjustment of its own QMS;
• guarantee the full customer's satisfaction.


Our products are manufactured according to several international standards. ABV Energy has been granted from American Petroleum Institute the authority to monogram its product according to specification 6A and 6D. API Spec. 6A includes the Product Specification Level 4, which is the highest quality level specified. Our license numbers are:

API Spec. 6A-0568;
API Spec. 6D-0289.

All ABV Energy ball valves are tested according to its internal specification and procedures which fully comply with the applicable standards and customers requirements

ABV Energy S.p.A. aims to develop a business culture of the continuous improvement of process, products and offered services:

• to effectively answer to market requirements;
• to satisfy customers needs of quality and reliability of products and services;
• to manage the relationship with customers during all phases, from the quotation to the final assistance after sales;
• to ensure the actuation of this policy, and understanding the importance of an organic and systematic approach in the management of the activities which have an influence on the quality, ABV Energy S.p.A. has created its own Quality System.

ABV Energy S.p.A. besides satisfying the requirements and expectations of the customers by applying the Quality Control, implements a system that satisfy the application of the directive 97/23/EC (Pressure Equipment Directive).

Being convinced that the objective above mentioned can be obtained and maintained over the time only with the full involvement of all personnel, it is an objective of the Company to obtain that the instruments and methods for the quality as defined in the Quality System are understood, shared and considered by all personnel, each one for what of his competence, as an useful tool for the daily work necessary to obtain the objectives of the Company and not as useless method imposed to satisfy the contractual requirements.

The Managing Director is directly involved with a constant commitment to promote the actuation, development and improvement of the Quality System, and involving and orienting all personnel to reach this objective
