Inspection & test
All ABV Energy ball valves and actuators are tested according to its internal specification and procedures which fully comply with the applicable standards and customers requirements.
INSPECTION ON MATERIALS.
Chemical analysis and phisical mechanical properties of valve components are verified and reviewed. Inspection on material shall include:
Positive Material Identification
Dye Penetrant Exams
Magnetic Particle Exams
X and Gamma Rays Exams
Ultrasonic Exams
Visual and Dimensional Exams
INSPECTION ON PRODUCTS.
All ABV Energy valves are subjected to the following standards tests:
Hydraulic Body & Seats Test
Low Pressure Pneumatic Test
Verification of actual stem torque requested to open the valve at max differential pressure
OPTIONAL TESTS ARE:
High Pressure Gas Nitrogen Test.
Gas Helium Test.
Bending Test (to verify the performances of ball valves under pressure while a bending moment is transmitted by piping).
Fire Test (to verify the performances of ball valves when subjected to fire. We adopt the standards API 607, API 6FA, and BS6755-2).
Cryogenic Test (to verify the performances of ball valves at the temperature of minus 46°C or lower).
Being convinced that the company objectives can be obtained and maintained over the time only with the full involvement of all personnel, it is an objective of the Company to obtain that the instruments and methods for the quality as defined in the Quality System are understood, shared and considered by all personnel, each one for what of his competence, as a useful tool for the daily work necessary to obtain the objectives of the Company and not as useless method imposed to satisfy the contractual requirements.
The Managing Director is directly involved with a constant commitment to promote the actuation, development and improvement of the Quality System, and involving and orienting all personnel to reach this objective.
